The newest addition to Footprint’s burgeoning series of activity guides, Diving South East Asia introduces divers to the world’s most diverse marine environment. This truly comparative guide includes over 400 popular sites, all of which have been dived, reviewed and photographed by experienced husband-and-wife team, Beth and Shaun Tierney. From the pristine, isolated reefs of Indonesia’s Spice Islands to the lively marine and land environments in The Philippines’ Puerto Galera, there’s something for everyone. The guide also features personal opinions and anecdotes from both experts and other divers, as well as recommendations of what to do and see on dry land.
Great book, lots of colorful pictures and a general breifing dive sites and good conditions on the ground. However, the authors could make a much better job when it comes to advice for living, information and description of procedures and costs for these areas. He said the housing budget under $ PAS $ 75 per night. They do not describe how much diving, or for information on how you can get from one place to another. Travelers in the long run, as IEnjoy this book, but certainly need a second reference for the planning of a budget!
